Eventually he cracked. After days of calm and reasoned analysis, the RTE business editor David Murphy couldn't take it any more. Winding up his interview with IMF mission chief Ajai Chopra, he apparently forgot that he was a calm and reasoned analyst, and remembered what he was, what he is, and what he always will be.
He is Paddy.
Yes, when all of his business babble is done, and the true nature of his soul is finally revealed, RTE's David Murphy is just like any of the rest of us in this country -- he is Paddy, and he is Paddy to the core.
