No chance of recovery while politicians are still in denial

A BUDDHIST teacher was asked to give his opinion of Ireland. He reflected, smiled and said "Guinness".

No, he wasn't ordering a pint, just saying our relationship to alcohol was our most outstanding national characteristic.

He was making a serious point about the Irish love of alcohol. There is a parallel with an individual's alcoholic journey and Ireland's financial collapse.
