THERE was something missing from The Square in Tallaght. It was like Paris without the Eiffel Tower, or Clery's sales without oul' wans at the head of the queue.
Where on earth was Charlie O'Connor? Where was Mr Tallaght, the Doyen of D24?
The former TD for Dublin South-West may have been one of the many Fianna Fail deputies who were swept away in the electoral tsunami of last March, but that small mishap didn't really put a halt to Charlie's ubiquity on his home patch.
