Michael Brennan: Fianna Fail still on life support, but the patient has stabilised

MICHEAL Martin is leading a party that is still hated by a large part of the population -- and which has no chance of getting back into power in the next general election.
But one year on from the general-election massacre, the party's TDs are relieved that he has managed to stabilise the situation.
"We are still on life support," said one, "but the beep isn't going as fast as it used to."
