NOW it's our turn. Ireland has welcomed thousands of Polish people here in the past, and Polish people will give just as warm a welcome to Irish football fans for Euro 2012.

There is a special attitude between Irish and Polish people. The Irish will receive a great welcome in Poland when they visit next year, but are always welcome there.

It's not trite to say that my heart belongs to Ireland, and I think the same can be said for many other Poles.
