'IT'S a Wonderful Life' is one of Hollywood's all-time classic Christmas movies, in which James Stewart's hapless guardian angel talks him out of ending his own life on Christmas Eve by showing him what life would be like without him.
Frank Capra's 1946 classic lost money at the box office when it was first released but has gone on to become a staple of seasonal TV schedules.
