When lovers click online, it's often a perfect match

WE all have one thing in common: our quest to find love. As our reliance on technology and social media grows, the ways in which we date and go about finding partners has changed utterly. Until recently, internet dating was a taboo subject. It was always something other people did, and these 'other people' were most likely to be sexual deviants or axe murderers.

Technology is now completely embedded in the fabric of our lives. We spend our days and nights glued to our smartphones. Online dating is no longer the preserve of geeks, oddballs, and the downright hopeless – it has become a legitimate, if not entirely natural, place to search for love.
