Lise Hand: Taoiseach is keeping mum on reshuffle -- in two languages

THIS may only be a hunch, but there's a strong possibility that the Taoiseach is quietly enjoying himself right now.

It's been a bleak few days on the jobs front, with several hundred new names heading on to the live register following the winding up of Postbank and the closure of a chain of 14 fashion stores around the country, to name but two of the most recent unemployment disasters.

It's not that the Taoiseach is taking any pleasure in these dispiriting closures -- of course he isn't -- but these days the job losses he's being grilled over at every hand's turn have to do with the potential P45s he will distribute to members of his own Cabinet.
