The Fianna Fail deputies practically cartwheeled into the Dail chamber yesterday afternoon at the kick-off of Leaders' Questions.
Beside themselves, they were. Finally, finally, a government minister had shot himself in the foot by shooting his mouth off about bailouts and bond markets, thereby handing the embattled Soldiers of Destiny a rare chance to blow dust off their weaponry.
Oh, they were like kiddies on Christmas morning after finding shiny bikes under the tree. For ever since the March Massacre they've been lurking in the opposition trenches and gazing wistfully at the high moral ground once occupied by their rampant forces but which has now fallen into the clutches of the Blueshirt Infidel.
