Lise Hand: Joe's Cutting Sark takes wind out of Captain Kenny's sails
Enda's visage was suffused by a pink hue even more vivid than his cerise-coloured tie. After weeks of pleasant, iceberg-free sailing through the various sessions of Dail questions, the Taoiseach had finally found himself in choppy waters when a pirate-ship suddenly hove into view on the horizon.
And waving the skull-and-crossbones was the Captain of Cutting Sark, deputy Joe Higgins.
From the outset of Leaders' Questions yesterday, Enda appeared to be a bit flustered, waffling through answers with none of the breezy certainty which he has been exhibiting since settling himself into the hot seat.
