A MILE-WIDE grin spread unchecked across the Taoiseach's face. He couldn't help himself, for someone had mentioned his first-ever phone chat with POTUS (that's the President of the United States to you and me) last Friday.
"He was very friendly on the telephone," said Enda, happily.
"I reminded him that I was in Denver for his acceptance speech of his nomination and he said that was a fun day and I said it was -- we were in a queue for 3km for bottles of water," he smiled.
