For Hurricane Lucinda is looming large on the horizon. After months of minor tempests in Fine Gael over the abortion legislation, the storm is set to break over Leinster House today when the final vote takes place on the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill.
For it looks increasingly likely that Lucinda Creighton will press the red button on her high-profile career within the party and vote against the Government, sparking her immediate expulsion from the Fine Gael family.
