THE dust had barely settled on yesterday morning's bombshell announcement that An Bord Pleanala had put the kibosh on the development of a new National Children's Hospital when a bad epidemic of finger-pointing broke out in the Dail.
And Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore was in the thick of it. He arrived into Leader's Questions with a trio of Labour ministers in tow -- Ruairi Quinn, Pat Rabbitte and Brendan Howlin -- knowing that his party would be the main object of opposition ire.
Fianna Fail's Eamon O Cuiv sprang out of the traps like a hungry bunny. "This hospital is needed now more urgently than ever," he said.
