Is the National Broadband Plan about to be hit with another major delay?

Today, the Government will announce a cut-down map of the areas set to benefit from the State-subsidised fibre rollout plan.

What was something approaching 900,000 homes and business is now likely to be closer to 500,000. It could mean a big delay to the plan's rollout.
