Labour will need vision to go with plans to change the Constitution
EAMON Gilmore and the Constitutional Crusade. It has the ring of a Hollywood movie title. Think: 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' or 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief'.
True, the Labour leader doesn't have Potter's wizardly qualities or the demi-god status of Jackson.
But there is a touch of magic-wand politics in the proposal to rewrite the Constitution before the 2016 centenary of the Easter Rising.
