Johnny Fallon : Vincent's withering stare and David's latest cause for umbrage

THE presidential election continues to provide us with controversy aplenty. Martin McGuinness is still being questioned about IRA involvement, but let’s face it, nothing new is coming out and his voters already know what he is being accused of and have made up their minds.

Sean Gallagher is still being accused of being FF, but that is hardly startling or new either. Michael D. Higgins was properly questioned for the first time last night by Vincent Browne but he came out relatively unscathed. Dana, having started well in the campaign is starting to fade into the background and is in serious danger of being seen as a ‘one trick pony’ in relation to the EU.

Gay Mitchell continues on his crusade against Sinn Fein but increasingly he looks like a man who is being over advised and over managed in an effort to boost his ratings. Fine Gael may have lost a few points since the general election but they are still riding high.
