James Downey: Coalition is going to need a lot more than 100 days

WHEN Fine Gael and Labour took office on March 9, I privately vowed that I would give them their wished-for hundred days before trying to deliver any sort of interim judgment on their performance.

Even then, an assessment will barely amount even to an interim judgment.

The shambles they inherited will not be cleaned up in 100 days, or 1,000 days.
