OUT of every crisis some people emerge with dignity and style while others make themselves look nasty or silly. In a way, this week's loser was also a big winner.
David Norris exited his presidential campaign so gracefully that one could only regret that he had been forced out by the disclosure of a very foolish action.
Another person who came well out of the affair is his former supporter Finian McGrath. He stood by Norris until his position became untenable.
