It's time to rise to the challenge, lads, and launch a counterattack
We've seen enough Fianna Fail bashing -- the party deserves some respect, writes Celia Larkin

How long do we have to listen to this mantra that anything to do with Fianna Fail is toxic?
Fianna Fail was creased in the last election, not to put too fine a tooth on it. it is, nevertheless a legitimate political party, representing 16 per cent of the electorate, with a grassroots membership (depleted) that spreads the length and breadth of the country. It is time the ordinary members and legitimately elected TDs were shown common courtesy and respect.
The notion that anybody who had any association with Fianna Fail in the past is in some way toxic is outrageous.
