Health chiefs won't learn lessons until heads roll


BEING told you have a serious medical condition is a terrible shock to the system.

But being misdiagnosed, and learning of your condition after weeks or even months, is distressing, devastating and dis-empowering.

The sudden realisation that there is something wrong, and that much of the precious time to rectify it has passed, can leave a patient out in the wilderness.
