THE surge towards Fine Gael continues, according to the Business Post poll: up three to 38, while the other three parties all lose support: Labour 20 (-2), FF 15 (-2) and SF 10 (-3). "King Kenny" screams a headline in the Sunday World. "I'm not sure people in this country want a single-party government," warns Eamon Gilmore -- the first clear sign of Labour panic. He's all over the place on The Week in Politics: denying that Kenny will be Taoiseach, desperately equating Fine Gael with Fianna Fail, and even refusing to retreat from what Sean O'Rourke mocks as his disastrous Skibbereen Eagle moment of saying it's either Labour's way or Frankfurt's way.
