Eilis O'Hanlon: Take a tip from a billionaire: it's OK not to cough up cash
Facebook founder Zuckerberg has rewritten the rules of restaurant etiquette, writes Eilis O'Hanlon
If there was ever any doubt that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is a genius, two things have recently proven it to be true.
The first was convincing investors to part with squazillions of dollars in the midst of a recession in return for a share in a company which produces nothing more than the ability to add a thumbs-up icon to pictures of people in their pants. The second was singlehandedly making it OK again not to tip.
Not that you'd know it from the hail of brickbats raining down on Geekzilla's head since, on honeymoon with his new wife, he left an Italian restaurant without leaving a tip for the serving staff.
