It is time to put everything on the table, including the Croke Park deal, writes Eddie Molloy
There was a flurry of activity during the week designed to "accelerate" the implementation of the Croke Park Agreement in order to "squeeze more savings" out of it.
For over two years, government ministers have expressed concern about the slow pace of implementation. In November 2010, for instance, the Sunday Independent reported on "delays plaguing public sector reform programmes", and just 10 days ago Brendan Howlin castigated those who were using Croke Park as "a shield for inactivity".
