Dunphy holds fire but Catholics are rejoicing

Eamon Dunphy was careful to hedge his bets on the appointment of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane (pictured).

Those with long memories know that he warmly welcomed the appointment of Giovanni Trapattoni, describing it as the "greatest day in Irish football".

Before long he was describing Trap as "arrogant", "amateurish", and "embarrassing".
