The Taoiseach will announce a new Cabinet on Tuesday, March 23, shortly after his ministers return from a junket around the globe to mark the week-long piss-up that is St Patrick's Day.
Both events will be presented as being of some significance, the media, by and large, complicit in a lie. The truth is that they are almost entirely insignificant in the real world.
The fact is that they will be nothing more than another distraction, a folding up and re-pitching of a circus tent, something else for Dan Boyle to twitter about.
