RTE's Crisis programme on the collapse of Brian Cowen's government made for grim viewing by the end.
At first blush, what could be better than watching a phalanx of former cabinet ministers pour arrow after arrow into the political corpse of their leader?
Or listening to so many livid lips speak scornfully of Cowen's so-called 'bar-lobby', those children of darkness, those gentlemen of the shade, never seen but wondered at?
