Birdbrains fall victim of wolf
Jordan Belfort, the Wolf of Wall Street, came to Dublin last week. His motivational speaking gig at the RDS was attended by 3,000 paying punters, the Birdbrains of Ballsbridge.
Belfort is a calamitously unsuccessful businessman, so blunderingly inept that Martin Scorsese made a slapstick movie about his spectacular downfall.
Remarkably, however, there are some among us – men mostly – who see Belfort as a role model, a font of business wisdom.
