Bankruptcy would give Anglo very useful insight into Quinn family's financial affairs
JUST weeks after her former-billionaire husband was declared bankrupt, Patricia Quinn was last night facing the prospect of not being able to pay her debts.
The self-described "home-maker" was yesterday ordered to repay Anglo Irish Bank €3m. The bank has limited visibility over her finances and it remains to be seen whether she will be able to pay.
They'll find out for sure over the coming days, when they 'serve' her with the judgment and ask her to hand over the cash. If she does, that will be the end of it. If she doesn't, Anglo will have 'enforcement' options including bankrupting the matriarch.
