GIVEN how in-vogue it was in political discourse at the time of the Budget, let's start with a Latin phrase: 'Tempus Fugit'. Time flies.
The Coalition is already coming up to the end of its second year in office and, as is the way during an economic crisis, it has barely been able to draw breath.
So far, so okay (-ish) would probably be the fairest assessment. The Coalition might lack radical and innovative thinking, but it has shown it has the bottle to take the necessary tough budgetary decisions.
