Back to Dull Eireann as even jokers fail to create any buzz

IT'S always an ominous sign that things are bad when mordant humour sets in. And as the boys and girls of the 30th Dail trailed disconsolately back into Leinster House yesterday for what looked fair set to be a lesson in the school of hard knocks, a joke began doing the rounds of mobiles.
"What's the difference between the 70 Fianna Fail deputies and the 33 Chilean miners?" it asked.
"The miners stand a good chance of being rescued."
