THEY talk about the power of living in the moment, in the here and now, but right now few of us seem to have the strength to be what a psychologist might call "mindful": we are all projecting forward to, say, three months' time, to a life without Fianna Fail.
People tend to do that in a moment of trauma, real or imagined, to wish that they were over it and out the other side -- be it a bereavement, a relationship breakdown, or even a toothache.
Right now we are projecting forward, wishing Christmas and New Year behind us, that we might be rid, as soon as possible, of this dreadful Government, which has done us so much harm.
