A year on... Boxer's transition from the floods to the corridors of government

This week last year, Kevin 'Boxer' Moran was at the start of a three-month battle against some of the worst floods the Midlands has ever witnessed.
Propelled to national politics on the back of his work and months away from being a minister, he says life in Leinster House has been a learning curve involving backstabbing, scratchy moments and long hours.
He wakes up on rainy mornings with a pang of worry because he has a "fear that you're not doing enough".
