We're near bottom on education
The share of our national wealth spent on education has dropped to the third lowest in Europe, new figures show.
Only Greece and the Slovak Republic spend less within the EU. Mexico and Chile actually spend a higher percentage of gross domestic product than we do.
The survey was carried out by the OECD.
