Teen tied up in petrol station raid
A teenager was tied up and locked in a storeroom by an armed gang who robbed a service station, police said.
Two masked men, one armed with a handgun, and the other wielding a baseball bat, entered the petrol station in Main Street, Toomebridge, Co Antrim, at 9pm on Sunday night.
They forced a male employee in his late teens into a storeroom, where his hands and feet were tied. Police said he was not injured.
The thieves escaped with cash and cigarettes in a small blue or dark-coloured van. Both of the men wore balaclavas and dark clothing.
The first was around 5ft 9in, of stocky build and in his early to mid-20s while the second was about 6ft and of thinner build.
Police have appealed for information.
