SEX offender Danny Foley has been moved to Arbour Hill Prison in Dublin.
The 35-year-old was taken from Cork Prison on Sunday night as part of a normal internal prison transfer.
It is understood he began working at the Dublin prison yesterday. The Irish Independent has learned Foley did not request the move and is unlikely to look for a second transfer to be closer to home.
Foley was sentenced to five years' imprisonment last week after being found guilty of the sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman in July 2008.
Last night, Foley's fiancee, Michelle O'Sullivan, said she planned to visit him this afternoon. His family can make one more visit before Christmas but will not be allowed to see him on Christmas Day.
