Man killed in road traffic accident in Ardee, Co Louth

A 48-YEAR-OLD man was killed in Ardee, Co Louth last night when he was struck by a car.

The man was hit as he was walking on the N2 at Reaghstown, Ardee at 9.50pm. The driver of the car was uninjured.

The pedestrian’s body was taken to Louth County Hospital for post mortem examination.

Gardai at Ardee are seeking anyone with information about the accident to call them at Ph 041 68711130.
