Loyalties. . . Kenny. . . Tubridy. . . Coughlan. . . Croker
- Jacqueline Cotter from Skibbereen describes herself as a "True blue Manchester City Supporter" (Letters, September 22).
These so called soccer supporters who choose to follow foreign soccer teams are a disgrace. Jacqueline and others like her who support foreign soccer teams should cop themselves on and support their local soccer teams instead.
Jacqueline's local League of Ireland team Cork City nearly went bust this year due in no small part to dwindling attendances.
Perhaps she and others like her should behave like proper soccer fans and start supporting their local team.

- Last week I sent a letter bemoaning the loss of 'Questions and Answers' on a Monday night on RTE One.
Having watched 'Frontline' on Monday I must admit the whole tone of the presentation was far superior. There was a cut and thrust that Q&A had somehow lost. Pat Kenny did an excellent job and he is to be congratulated.

- The 'Late Late Show' is now 'Tubridy Tonight' on a Friday night. Why the hype?

- I agree with Nicola Stapleton on Mary Coughlan. ('To Err Is Human -- Leave Mary Alone', Letters, September 22).
You should refrain from reporting anything -- even if it is true -- which might reflect negatively on any woman until you have reached the level of moral righteousness that Nicola and myself have reached.

- Why is no one else asking what the cameramen found so interesting about the dark-skinned fans at Croke Park on Sunday?
If they're ticking boxes to appear inclusive, is it not racist to earmark black people in crowd shots?
