::: Joined-up thinking on business intelligence

Monday June 30 2008

The Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and SAS Ireland have joined forces to launch Ireland's first third level course on analytics.

The move reflects the growing recognition by Irish businesses of the competitive advantage to be gained through business intelligence and predictive analytics.

Analytics specialists can assist a business to speedily and effectively scrutinise the data within their organisations and identify potential growth and innovation opportunities.

Our picture by Jason Clarke shows Michael Kearney, Country Manager, SAS Ireland and DIT President Professor Brian Norton at the launch over the weekend in DIT Aungier Street.
