Death of Lady Valerie Goulding

LADY Valerie Goulding, the co-founder of the Central Remedical Clinic, died yesterday at a Dublin nursing home, aged 85.
Lady Goulding's work throughout the country was widely recognised and honoured during her lifetime.
She was awarded a Gold Medal from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and an honorary Doctorate in Law from the National University of Ireland.
Sir Anthony O'Reilly, Chairman of Independent News and Media, in an appreciation, writes : "She became a symbol of care and compassion for generations of Irish people".
