Dark and deadly plan hatched on hitman website

By Shane Phelan

Tuesday November 04 2008

ARMED with the fake marriage certificate which she believed would help her net her around €60m inheritance, Sharon Collins set about surfing the internet looking for a hitman to have her millionaire property tycoon partner PJ Howard and his two sons killed.

It was August 2006 when Collins set the plot in motion, using the e-mail address lyingeyes98@ yahoo.ie to make contact with a website called hitmanforhire.net.

Within a few days, Collins had begun correspondence with a 'Tony Luciano', who claimed that his agency had a network of assassins all over the world. Following a series of emails between the two, Luciano -- who was really Las Vegas poker dealer Essam Eid -- agreed to do the hit for $90,000.

Collins forwarded him details of the movements of Mr Howard and his two sons, Niall and Robert.

She later sent Eid a Fedex delivery of €15,000 as a deposit. However, instead of committing the murders, Eid double-crossed Collins by offering Robert Howard the chance to buy out the contract for €100,000.

The plot fell apart when Mr Howard called in the gardai to arrest Eid.
