Cowen hit by another 'exposure'
LIBERTAS is launching another expensive billboard campaign as it steps up its European election campaign.
But the anti-Lisbon Treaty party is refusing to say how much the poster campaign will cost or how much it has raised in donations to fund its early start to the June 5 elections.
One of the four posters features a picture of a rather sullen Taoiseach with the caption 'The Naked Truth About Brian Cowen' in reference to the controversy over the two portraits which led to a garda investigation.
The poster claims the Taoiseach has overseen the loss of 1,000 jobs a day in February and has spent three days "sulking about a painting". A Libertas spokesman said that after enduring a year of attacks on Declan Ganley, it was time to "throw a flap back".
"We've had all sorts of accusations such as the CIA agent references for the last year. It's now a case of 'if you can give it, you should take it,'" he said.
