Children hurt as car set ablaze
TWO children were receiving emergency treatment last night after they suffered serious burns in what gardai described as an horrific random arson attack.
The brother (4) and sister (6) suffered extreme injuries when the car in which they were sitting was set ablaze after their mother refused to give a man a lift into Limerick. The attack took place in Pineview Gardens, Moyross at 2pm. Neighbours rushed from their home as the terrified mother attempted to free her young children.
