Gardai investigating the death of Katy French will begin a trawl of Dublin's social and celebrity set from tomorrow.
Detectives are anxious to trace all of Katy's friends and acquaintances to help trace the source of the cocaine that they believe was a major contributory factor in her death.
A series of preliminary interviews have already been carried out with members of her family and some of her friends, particularly those who were with her in the hours before she was admitted to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan.
Gardai will wait until after her funeral in Enniskerry this afternoon before they extend their inquiries.
Party
They will focus initially on those who were known to have been in Ms French's company in the three days before she became critically ill, particularly the large circle of acquaintances who attended her 24th birthday party in Krystle's nightclub last Thursday night week.
Inquiries will be made at Navan hospital and staff on duty when Ms French was admitted will be asked about their knowledge of here condition when she arrived there on Sunday morning.
Gardai will also examine Ms French's telephone records and these are likely to lead to further interviews.
One senior officer predicted last night that the investigation would be a lengthy one.
Before any key decisions are made, gardai will also want to know the results of the toxicology tests ordered by the State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, after her initial post-mortem examination last week.
These tests may show how much cocaine was in Ms French's body and how long it had been there. Hospital tests have indicated traces of cocaine.
