A PLAY written and performed by victims of abuse in religious-run institutions is set to run in Andrew's Lane Theatre, Dublin.

The play has been backed to the tune of €15,000 by the National Office for Victims of Abuse (NOVA).

Moreover, it has been produced by the Leanbh Aislinn Theatre Group.

The Group is an offshoot of the Aislinn Centre, a victim support group led by Christine Buckley, a former resident of Goldenbridge Orphanage. Called 'Tears of a Clown', it has been written by Glenn Gannon, himself a former resident of Goldenbridge. It will run in the Andrews Lane Theatre from November 2 to November 6.
