Renata considers return to Ireland

This can only add to the gaiety of the nation, for the uber-wealthy widow of businessman Cecil Coleman is as fun as she is glam. Once upon a time, Renata was renowned for her soirees at her Gothic pile, Humewood Castle in county Wicklow, where she entertained friends such as John Hurt and Sarah Owens back when they were inseparable.
Renata also had stars like David Bowie, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Winona Ryder and John Travolta stay at her 450-acre estate, which she sold in 2006 for €25m to Irish developer John Lally. Then she moved to Scotland.
Happily for the Irish economy, she's currently considering moving back to this part of the world – to Wicklow, in fact. "She was the great entertainer," a close pal of the Bavarian-born socialite told me. "Indeed, she was also a highly rated polo player."
Renata, who was in Australia last week, is due in Dublin this week for business and to meet some friends for dinner.
