STEPPING out in towering Christian Louboutins, a figure hugging Temperley dress, and with poker straight hair and painted talons, new mum Beyonce looked every inch a survivor of the first gruelling weeks of motherhood.

Beyonce left baby Ivy Blue with the babysitter and stepped out in style to support husband Jay-Z for both nights of his sold out concerts at New York’s Carnegie Hall.

Clearly enjoying her dressing up experience, on the second night she wore an overtly sexier number and with her her hair in bouncy curls. The figure skimming dress by Monique Lhuillier, was sprinkled with sequins and clung in all the right places to the 30-year-old’s Jessica Rabbit like figure.

During the show proud dad Jay-Z asked the crowd to show their appreciation for 4 week old Blue Ivy Carter when he performed Glory, a song he wrote for her: “Put your hands in the air for Baby Blue,” he told the audience.

“He asked the crowd if there are any proud parents out there. Then after he said, ‘I didn’t think I was gonna make it through that one — that was tough,” one fan said after the show.

The shows also saw Alicia Keyes appearing on stage with the rapper to perform their hit NY State of Mind in matching tuxedos.

After the triumphant show, the rapper and Beyonce sneaked into his 40/40 Club to celebrate his performance with friends.

This was the singer’s first appearance since baby Ivy Blue Carter was born on 7 January. She did however make a personal statement on her blog after renowned singer Etta James passed away.
