The BMW 3-series took this year's Continental Irish Car of the Year award with 240 points. It was followed by the Volvo V40 on 220 and the Peugeot 208 came third on 202.
There were awards in five categories:
Small Car of the Year: Peugeot 208
Compact Family Car of the Year: Volvo V40
Family Car of the Year: BMW 3 Series
Executive/Luxury Car of the Year: BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe
Performance Car of the Year: Toyota GT86
The Irish Van of the Year 2013: Ford Transit Custom
