If you need a little help with your toy list for the man in red this Christmas, this year’s top ten must-have toys have been revealed.
Old favourites alongside new creations, these predictions could come in handy for Santa’s workload plan.
Tipped for the top this Christmas is the Teksta Robotic Puppy (€71.99) and if you can make your robo-mutt do a back-flip by St Stephen’s Day then you’re way ahead of the posse.
For the tech-kids this year, the InnoTab 3S (€139.99) or the LeapPad Ultra (€167.99) is the must-have device while Monopoly Empire (€23.99) is perfect for those who love to play with a bit of cash.
Doll-lovers will be excited to see the Flying Fairy’s antics (€42.99) while Monster High are back in the top ten again, with the Monster High 13 Wishes Doll (€27.99)
And there are a few old favourites on the toy lists this year too.

Finally, for the kids that love to play grown-ups, Doc McStuffins Doctor’s Bag Playset (€24.99) and Robo Fishbowl (€18.99) are also on this year’s list of top ten toys.
For those who are considering Santa’s budget, over half of the 50 most popular toys this year are under €30.
This year’s list has been released in anticipation of the Dublin Toy Fair which takes place between November 27 and December 1 in the RDS.
Organiser Patrick O’Sullivan promises the fair to be a great day out.
“The industry is bringing over the best it has to offer, and the biggest names in toys will be there,” he told independent.ie
“It’s so much more than just a toy-shop, it’ll be a real experience for all the family and for retailers too."
The five-day toy expo is a first for Dublin and organisers are expecting 15,000 people from all over the country.
Families are advised to book their meeting with Santa, which includes a train ride through his magical kingdom, in advance.
