Promoted at: McInerney Homes (Ireland)
Position: Managing director
Responsibilities: Crowley is responsible for growth strategy in Ireland and managing existing operations, which span 30 sites.
Previous experience: He has worked with the company since 1991 and moves into this role from the position of regional director, south of Ireland.
Qualifications: Crowley has a civil engineering degree from University College Cork (UCC).
Moving to: Aramark Ireland
Position: Regional manager healthcare, Leinster
Responsibilities: Wembridge is responsible for 16 contracts in healthcare including private hospitals and nursing home groups.
Previous Experience: He has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having worked in catering procurement and management for large NHS trusts for four years.
Qualifications: He holds a diploma in hotel and catering management from University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.
Pat O’Sullivan
Moving to: LIA
Position: Chief executive officer
Responsibilities: O’Sullivan will be responsible for the development of the skills and competence of those who give and support personal financial advice.
Previous experience: He worked with Bank of Ireland and First Active where he held a number of senior management positions. He was also employed by the Irish Banking Federation and his most recent role was as director of financial services with the Irish Brokers Association.
Promoted at: Irish Distillers
Position: Brands director
Responsibilities: Donnellan will direct the marketing activity for the company’s brand portfolio in Ireland, with the exception of Jameson.
Previous experience: She joined the company in January 2006 as head of consumer insight and planning. Prior to this, she worked in a number of senior consumer marketing roles within the drinks industry including global planning director for Baileys.
Clement Gleeson
Promoted at: Prem Group
Position: National sales manager
Responsibilities: Gleeson will oversee the management of the company’s corporate sales accounts and provide strategic support to sales managers across the group’s hotel portfolio.
Previous experience: He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, having worked in some of Ireland’s leading hotels, including Aghadoe Heights in Killarney, the Park Hotel in Kenmare and the Pembroke Townhouse in Dublin. He was also general manager of Days Hotel, Kilkenny.
Moving to: Energia
Position: Key accounts manager
Responsibilities: Connolly will oversee new business development for the company.
Previous experience: Prior to this appointment, he was employed by Advance Pitstop as a commercial key accounts manager and for Dyson Technologies Ireland as an account manager.
Qualifications: He has a diploma in international business studies from the Dublin Business School.
Dean O’Sullivan
Moving to: Gypsum Industries
Position: General sales manager
Responsibilities: O’Sullivan is responsible for all sales in the Republic of Ireland and dealings through builder merchants and distributors.
Previous experience: Prior to joining the company, he was head of sales at Green Isle Foods, a position he held since 2005. He also worked in a number of other management positions within the company and has over 10 years’ management and accountancy experience.
Moving to: Independent Directory, Munster
Position: New regional sales manager
Responsibilities: Kelly’s duties will include business development and management of the Munster sales team.
Previous Experience: Kelly worked with the Golden Pages for 19 years.
Qualifications: She holds a diploma in training and development, and a certificate in marketing from UCC.
