Oliver Mitchell
MOVING TO: Softworks
POSITION: Financial controller
RESPONSIBILITIES: Mitchell will be charged with the review and management of current company policies and procedures, along with the management of all finance and accounting functions.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: He joins Softworks from the National Irish Safety Organisation where he worked as financial controller.
Chris Taylor
Moving to: Espion
Position: Forensic consultant
Responsibilities: Taylor will conduct a wide range of forensic investigations, in line with leading international practice. He will also educate and create awareness in the Irish marketplace of the value of computer forensics.
Previous Experience: Taylor worked for eight years as an IT investigator with the Technology Exploitation Unit of New Scotland Yard in Lon don.
Paul Sommerville
Appointed to: Delta Index
Position: Head of private clients
Previous Experience: Sommerville has over 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry and joins Delta Index from City Index Advisory where he was a senior trading advisor on spread betting and contracts for difference for six years. Prior to this, he was head of Interest Rate Futures at the Tokyo office of Tullett & Tokyo for five years.
Shai Meyer
MOVING TO: Aramark Ireland
POSITION: Retail coffee specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meyer will have responsibility for growing Aramark’s existing hot beverage category by driving sales while also focusing and enhancing operational standards.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: A qualified chef, he has over 15 years’ experience in the catering sector.
John Corr
APPOINTED AT: Friends First
POSITION: Regional sales manager, West
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corr will be responsible for actively growing business in partnership with brokers in the region.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: He has held a variety of senior roles within Friends First over the past 20 years, most recently within the Sales Strategy and Operations area.
Paul Lynam
APPOINTED AT: Siemens
POSITION: Chief financial officer and member of the board
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Lynam has been the commercial manager of Siemens’ energy and transportation division since 2005. He also spent 14 years working in Germany for Smurfit Kappa Group.
QUALIFICATIONS: He has a degree from Dublin City University and a postgraduate diploma from University College Dublin.
David Gibson
APPOINTED AT: Fota Wildlife Park
POSITION: Director
RESPONSIBILITIES: Gibson will be responsible for planning the education, conservation and communications strategy for Fota Wildlife Park. He will also be leading the future development of the park.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Gibson was assistant chief executive at The Deep, a publicly funded, award-winning aquarium project, based in East Yorkshire.
